Event Info Maslow studied exemplary people to figure out how to help his patients be as mentally healthy as possible because he believed that "the study of crippled, stunted, immature, and unhealthy specimens can yield only a cripple psychology and a cripple philosophy." He developed a theory of a pyramid of needs in which lower level needs must be met before higher level needs can emerge.

The NeuroKitchen Arts Collective takes Maslow's ideas and turns them into a story of a girl dealing with her father's job loss. The ensemble takes each level; physiological, safety, love & belonging, esteem, self-actualization and creates choral harmonies, rock-hop, ballads, and bucket drumming which stir into the stories of climbing and falling through the pyramid.
