Street Cleaning Map and Schedule

Monday, April 2nd marked the beginning of the street sweeping season in Chicago and it will run through October 31, 2012. 

Street sweepers help keep streets clean for motorists, and prevent dirt and debris from entering the sewer system and ultimately allows for better drainage during a rain storm. Schedules have been posted on the City of Chicago's Streets and Sanitation's website but for simplicity's sake, the 1st and 32nd Ward Alderman have created detailed maps making the schedule easier to understand.
